Try to call (495) 229 66 00. They speak English. The rent price is incredibly high, in my opinion.

I recommend that you send a Private Message (PM) to Expat.ru member Tzaritsa. See this recent reference:

She speaks excellent English, really knows her business, will work hard for you and is a great person as well.

Guys: Why don't you simply write the price (or at least give a bracket), it may be useful to the community...

FIrst off, it starts at around $17000 for one bedroom house, then there is a waiting list, loooooooooooooooooong one.
Community can be resourceful enough to know that already.

Hi ya all

It seems that prices range from $11000 in Pokrovsky and $9000 in Rosinka (which was my second alternative)...

That is highly inaccurate information, and i am surrised you have not been called on it before now.

Firstly, there is no one bedroom house in Pokrovsky.

3 beds start at 9,000 USD and prices go up to approx 20,000 for the 5-bed, 340 metre houses.

Pokrovsky Rent Price

Negotiate...negotiate....negotiate....you are in Moscow after all. Pokrovsky is not immune to the downturn, you'll be suprised by what they may be willing to take. We are not talking about 'cheap' here at all, but at least it is worth a shot to see what they will take. I don't know if there is a waiting list now or not - the last thing they want is to have empty houses sitting around.

We have an offer to move to Moscow From US and would like to know your opinion about the Anglo American School for Grades 5--9. How many kids per class? How are the after school programs ?

Also interested by a 4 Bdr Townhouse in Prokrovsky-hills: Can we get similar type of house/appartment for $10,000 in another location but close to the AAS or included in the school bus stops ? Which real estate agent do you recommend ?

Catharina- why dont you try houses near by- they are 5 minute walk- it is an apartmrnt building - called Pokrovskoe Glebovo, now if you try looking into it for a while you can find a very good price to rent an apartment, the community is the same as pokrovsky Hills- Americal school 5 min away, and much cheaper the the Hills )
