Chess in Moscow

Hi,
Anyone out there is fond of playing chess?
If you are then post a message or PM me and we'll get to the details!

I am nursing this idea of getting together either outside at local parks or inside some cafeteria and play the game over the cup of coffee or a beer.

Hope to hear for you on this one!

Once when I was a little girl (9 years old) I won a championship between girls in a pioneer camp (although I won not only girls, but 3 boys as well ). Since that I did't play a lot, but sometimes... I believe I haven't lost my qualification completely.

About place - if it's still warm in Moscow - any park: Chistye prudy, Sokolniki etc... I'm in Moscow starting next week (Wednesday).

To tell you the truth, I haven't played for a long time, but would like very much...

Getting a company

It's ok with me!
We might even get out of it more than just a game.
Let's see how many people would like to join us until next week!

Hi sivaguru!

Great that you want to join us. So far there are only two of us - Max77 and me.

So you are welcome, although I don't know how to organize a game for three , but maybe Max and you have any ideas or some more people will want to play and we will have at least two tables.

Hi sivaguru!
You are welcome to join us at anytime.
We've already played a few games with OlgaT and don't mind anyone else joining us as well.

There's this Starbucks cafe at Tulskaya sub. station (gray line) that has three tables with a chessboard layout on them. We use that place to play the game and drink coffee after work.

If the weather is proper, we can think of taking it outside.

Hello) I' ll be happy to join you. May be i'm not so good in playing as i'd like to be but the play is not for judgement, isn't it?

Last week i've seen a group of people in Chistiye Prudi Park playing chess. In spite of the cold wind and rain they were playing for hours sitting in a big green tent... I guess they meet there from time to time to play.

What about some tea?

Hi there,
Glad we caught your attention on this one.
By now we have a mix of people (five with you joining us!) with different skill level. A couple of sessions that we've had already were during weekdays (Thursday and Friday to be precise), we met at 7 p.m. at Starbucks and played for a couple of hours there.
We may as well do it outside when the weather gets better and, of course, tea is fine!

Is there any certain public place where you would prefer playing???
What are the most convenient day and time for you????
Please PM for details.
Max
