But several airlines released detailed information about the restrictions, saying that passengers on international flights coming to the United States will apparently have to remain in their seats for the last hour of a flight without any personal items on their laps. It was not clear how often the rule would affect domestic flights.

people will just change airlines

and fly Lufthansa,Niki,Air Berlin and Aeroflot.
Where rules and regulations are enforced as well and not bad,, believe me.
But with some common sense.
How could that jo jo slip in firecrackers or whatever it was, let them do a 150% check on the ground. and then fly in peace.....
Done with EL AL all the time. And I never have heard the last 20 years or so, that there were any problems waht soever.
