After-work parties
Here in Germany we have special Afterwork parties on thursdays. Anything like this also in Moscow?

Here in Russia we have special and general parties, after work and before it, they're appearing sporadically and not connected to the day of week. But you'll see more drunken people in streets at Fridays evenings.

Thursday Feb., 11th - afterwork party!
I'd like to take this opportunity to announce our regular chess activity - we meet at 7 pm at Buddies Cafe this Thursday Feb., 11th. So with the help of Buddies we offer this little afterwork party for those of you who're fond of playing chess or would just like to take this opportunity to meet everyone in person, socialize in nice, friendly environment, have some beer and snacks. Chess club cancelled
Hi everybody,
We had to cancel our chess activity, because some of our vital members got cold and couldn't make it to Buddies yesterday evening. It was a last minute descision, so no appropriate announcement was made. My appologies for those of you who might have come by to play chess. Nevertheless, we plan to meet next Thursday. So if you're up to 'afterwork parties on thursdays' stick with us. Regards,

I understand what you mean, i ve been to German after-work parties, unfortunately such a thing doesn't exist here yet... However, maybe there is something to think about- maybe we could introduce it?...
