Question:

I have a hole at the back of one of my wisdom teeth. They say it can't be healed because it is too difficult to work in such an awkward location. So, it should be pulled out. Is that a correct diagnosis?

It is true, that the wisdom teeth are difficult to fill, but I would think it depends on the size of the defect as well as of the effective contribution of this tooth to the chewing process. If there is contact with another tooth and it is not covered under gum, as some wisdom teeth do, a filling could be done instead of extracting the tooth! Best regards, V.G.
