Hi, beginning May my girlfriend and I are moving from Netherlands to Moscow. We are looking for a 2 or 3-room furnished apartment of about $1500-2000 a month near a subway station and basic shop facilities. This apartment should be for living and for establishing an office which is part of a St.Pete based company. While asking some agencies they explain that we have to call back 2 weeks before we arrive:
- Is it only possible to discuss possibilities on such a short notice?
- Can you give an estimation if we can find something based on our needs?
- Is it difficult to register a company on the same address as where we are living?
- Can you advise how we can find such an apartment?

It is not so difficult to find a 2-room apartment for $2000 not far from subway. But it is more difficult to find a 3-room apartment near subway in good condition in this budget. I also would like to mention that these apartments will be on the suburbs of Moscow.
Unfortunately it is illegal to register a company on the address of rented apartments. But if the company already exists and it is registered in St.Petersburg, you can use rented apartments as an office.
Moscow real estate is very active and apartments for less then $5000 per month get rented very fast. So if you find some apartments now, in May it can already be rented. And it is really better to start searching not earlier then two weeks before arrival. If you tell us the exact date of your arrival, we will contact you earlier and will help to find the proper variant.
