Dear Kachuk,
in order to obtain a tourist visa to Canada you should bring to the consulate the confirmation of a hotel (in English), tickets, 2 photos, the letter from the company where your friend works which states her position and salary, copies of credit card and the copy of a work book. She'll also have to fill out the consulate questionnaire.
