Question:
I am travelling to moscow in february and have applied for a 12 month multi-entrance bussines visa. I would like to know whether I will need a landlord's letter stating that I will be staying at his residence for the full 12 months or if 6 months would be enough. Also where it asks what cities I want to visit will I encounter problems if I try to travel to others ones? |

Dear Oliver,
according to the new Federal Law the registration of a multiple - entry visa can be provided for not more than 6 months since the date of arrival. No matter what period of your stay will be stated in the notarized letter - 6 or 12 months. To re-register your visa you`ll have to leave the country , enter it again and bring a new notarized letter from the landlord.
If you are going to stay in other cities more than 5 days you should have marked them in the application form, when you applied for the invitation. But actually it`s not a strict rule, the most important thing is to register the visa within 3 business days after arrival. Good luck! |
