Question:
I am coming to russia in 01-07-04 on a visit visa I was talking to some one here on a thread and he informed me of a ME business visa. What I am looking for is a 1 year work visa multi entry visa so I may look for work in russia and I really don't want to come back to canada for good reason. What are my options??
Darren
Answer:
Dear Darren,
Yes, you can obtain 1 year multi-entry business visa and stay in Russia longer. Please keep in mind that business visa does not give you legal rights to work here. Your employer will have to arrange your work permit.
First of all you will need to get official letter of invitation for ME visa, which takes 17-18 business days to process. Once you have the invitation you could apply for visa at the Russian Consulate abroad (not necessary in Canada). You could contact us for details or check our website www.ath.ru and find there all information about Russian visa support and registration procedures. Good luck!
